PH probe and prayers

Thanks everyone for your commnets. It made me feel better, and that is an accomplishment. We had the ph probe placed today, which looks like another nose tube and we'll have it taken out tomorrow. The study requires me to do a whole bunch of doccumenting on paper. I am most excited to put Landon back on his reflux medication, as he has been barfing so much more, which stresses me out. So we will probably have the tube placed within the next month or so, depending on how bad the reflux is.
Hayden has continued to potty train, although, he just mostly wants to poop in the potty to get M&M's. He tells me this before he enters the bathroom. Then once I do put him on the toilet, he tells me to go get Landon so that he can witness the even too. So I play along, (whatever works), but Hayden's monologs totally crack me up. "Zandon, when you get big, you can go poop on this toilet." Yup, but hopefully not that exact one, as I hope to have flown this coop by then!
Tonight he said the dinner prayer. Prayers are always a fun experience. He has learned the joy of saying his own. "Please bless Zandon. He can go to sleep." Then he breaks in with a snoring sound. I think he felt he needed to help us visualize. "And please help Daddy to eat his own sandwich." I'm not really sure why he felt Serge would eat other's food. it is usually Hayden who is mooching off of everyone elses. Nevertheless, Serge and I were struggling not to laugh. I totally admit that I had to open my eyes to see is Serge was smirking as much as I was. He was.

Little kid prayers are always my favorite. We have my nephews pray whenever we can...

I'm glad Landon will be put back on his reflux med's. I'm keeping him (and you) in my prayers.

I'm with Hayden...there is a lot I'd do for a few M&Ms...especially now that I'm on a "healthy eating plan". Oh well. I'll keep telling myself that sugar free Jello is just as good as candy...

So happy that things are ok. Aren't you grateful for good doctors? Hayden cracks me up. I've told the story of "It's on sale" probably a thousand times.

Wendy...sugar free jello is not as good as candy. I am looking for some fat-free (same tasting) chocolate. Any ideas?

I just love Hayden. If you need a break from him, just ship him north. Maybe the cold weather would shock the naughty right out of him. My kids aren't as funny this year and I need a little entertainment. I did have a student call an exlamation point a 'daffodil' during assessment. Totally straight faced and confident.

Sarah! I love your blog--what a fun way to keep up with the Meyer's happenings. I miss you and think of you lots. Remember in College when you were debating about being a pediatrician? Sounds like you kind of got that dream after all in some ways. Hope to talk with you soon. You rock. Love Angela
